The irony, of course, is that the police are a tool of the 1%...and the same police are being marginalized by the actions of the 1%. Long term, it's a bad strategy from the perspective of the wealthy.
respectfully- gun control is a law enforcement issue. police are working class members. i stopped doing direct action when i found myself having more in common with the police than the other civil disobedients. living in santa cruz i have had this realization reinforced over and over for years. anon is right but class solidarity is difficult to achieve.
we do not need any more law enforcement~ enough innocent people die in and at their hands !!!
